Tide Pool Walk
If I don’t say so myself, I just looked all that in my red and black rubber boots. But now for the serious stuff. It was amazing all the neat little things we saw in the tide pools. Several varieties of Sea Stars, Sea Cucumbers, baby Flounders, Hermit Crabs, Decorator Crabs and so much more. Once you know what your looking for your afraid to step for fear that you might step on something alive. Once it started it was amazing how quickly the tide came in. One minute you were standing in an inch of water and the next minute it was halfway up your boot!
On the way back we stopped at the Farmers Market and then went down on the Spit for Fish and Chips.
We walked around a bit and then headed back to the trailer. Colin has been whining since we left that he can’t find butter tarts in the stores so I broke down and made him some when we got back.
